Welcome to Slick Vixen!

A little about us; Lets see if we can keep this short and sweet.

We love almost everything retro and vintage (and for us retro doesn't just mean rockabilly or Bettie Page); for us retro could be medieval. Retro is about timeless principle's of design, quality and style that are sometimes hard to find today.

In any case we found ourselves adding more and more retro favorites in the retro folder on our computer until it just got overwhelming. So we set about organizing all the sites we saved.

Our focus was to save the best quality retro and vintage sites we had and start finding new ones.

Then we broadened our horizons and we decided to share the sites we found and liked with the "world" with this website.

We are still getting suggestions and still trying to grow the list, our goal is for the site to become self supporting (hence the advertising and check out our little store), but really, it is a labor of love and fun. Its like a hobby that has grown up a little bit.

There are a lot of retro sites, with retro links out there, the links we post are just a sample of what we think are the best.

We preview every link that we post, including the ones you send us or the ones we found ourselves.

What started out as a shared interest has taught us so much more about so many other things, things we would never have discovered had it not been for our original interest in retro.
