If your looking for definitive imagery and documentation about retro or any period, the Life Photo archive may be the end all be all, however some of the source material found in some of the other links is just as spectacular. A lot of retro and the periods it encompasses, (often up for debate), seems optimistic and fun and therein lies its appeal.

There is a dark side and less hopeful dimension to retro as well, atomic and TNT come to mind but the objective of these links is to capture retro and give it an honest review.
